IMPORTANT UPDATE

Good afternoon NBGSA parents,

League update:

After sending out a survey in our last email, as well as reaching out to parents for feedback, there was not enough interest to substantiate a full summer season. The City Of New Braunfels Parks and Rec Department has opened the Camp Comal Fields at this time, so we worked with them to see what we could still offer to our parents and families. 

So what does this mean?
While we will not be doing a summer season, we know some of you would like to be able to get out and practice, and we did not want anyone who wanted to do this to be penalized from being able to participate in a full Fall Season. We have reserved a field and making this available to anyone that would like to be able to go out and practice. This will not be NBGSA hosted practices, but we wanted any NBGSA player who wanted a place to practice to be able to do so during dedicated times/days.

Here is what we have decided as a league to do:

• The Isabella Scott Field (Field 5) is reserved from 6pm - 8pm on the following dates:

  • June 19

  • June 26

  • July 10

  • July 17

  • July 24

  • July 31

• We ask that you continue to practice social distancing with those outside of your group, as outlined by the current CDC guidelines. 

• Registration fees - Your Spring registration fee will apply to the fall season. If you are not able to play in the Fall 2020, we will apply your registration to Spring 2021.
